Songs I love!!

Day 29 - 5 songs or pieces of music that speak to me or bring back memories. 

Oh man, we could be here all night. This post is so delayed because I just couldn't choose 5. 

Music is such a huge part of my life. I love it. Love love love love love it. There are so many songs that speak to me and make me feel a wide range of emotions and transport me back in time in an instant.....

I love music. Period. 

But alas, I had to choose, so here we go: 

#1 - Sovereign Over Us - by Aaron Keys 

This one can seriously bring me to my knees. So much emotion. So much praise. I love this video. I love this song. 

"Even what the enemy means for evil, You turn it for our good, You turn it for our good and for Your glory.

#2 I Have and I Always Will - Dave Barnes 

:) This was the song Ryan and I dance to at our wedding. Every time I hear this song I'm not only instantly transported back to our beautiful and perfect wedding day, but I remember sitting with Ryan trying desperately to pick out our first dance song and we just couldn't find the right one.....and then we found this one and we both automatically agreed that it had to be it! This song will always have a special place in my heart. 

#3 Being Alive - from Company, performed by Bernadette Peters 

I am definitely being that musical theater person by choosing this song as a favorite, but I just can't help it. Stephen Sondheim is a genius, Bernadette Peters is amazing, and this song speaks to me. 

"Alone is alone not alive..."

#4 Forever and Ever Amen - Randy Travis 

I know. I know. Really with this song?? But I just love it. I do. My mom used to constantly listen to this song when I was young and it stuck with me. And I REALLY do love it. I'm not ashamed. 

(this video though...I could do without this video. It was the only one that would work for me!!) 

 

#5 Lucky - Jason Mraz ft. Colbie Caillat
Every time I hear this song I immediately think of college and summer....both of which make me very happy!! And this tune just makes me happy!! :)

There we go!! I feel like this list is so incomplete...I need to add 35342 more. 

I'll spare you.
